Metal mining is the activity related to the exploitation of natural substances, from which a metallic element can be extracted.

Metal mining comprises of those industries where silver, gold, nickel, aluminum, copper, iron, and other metal elements are mined.

Mining operations, due to their intensive use of water resources, need an exhaustive control of water consumption, they see the need to capture water from desalination plants or transport it from the end of the production line, including the addition of the necessary prior treatment.

Non-metallic mining

Non-metallic mining includes the extraction of mineral resources such as talc, kaolin, sand, silica, lime, etc. After proper treatment, these are transformed into products applicable to various industrial and agricultural uses, thanks to their physical and / or chemical properties.

After the washing stage of any material, two major problems arise.

On the one hand, the treatment of the sludge generated in the washing and on the other the recovery of the water for its recirculation. The solution is commonly obtained by installing a sludge decanter, with the correct preparation and dosage of a flocculant solution that manages to efficiently separate the solids from the water.
