Industry

Most industrial sectors work with high quantities of water, which are necessary to carry out their processes. This includes sectors such as food, metalworking, ceramics, petrochemical, or waste management among others.

All of these sectors produce high volumes of wastewater that must be of the appropriate quality to return to the environment without harming it, and which always complies with environmental regulations. Therefore, reducing the impact of wastewater production.

The treatment of industrial wastewater, in addition to fulfilling the compliance of current environmental legislation, offers greater added value to those companies which are responsible and aware of the environment. Our contribution to this industrial activity goes beyond providing production water of excellent quality but consists of providing innovative solutions for the treatment of wastewater, through sustainable processes and promoting the circular economy.

Sector

Food

The food sector presents a wide variety of industrial effluents depending on the process. This can range, among others, from the dairy industry with the presence of organic matter and oils or a slaughterhouse with the presence of blood and proteins that also provide high COD values.

Sector

Petrochemical

The oil refining sector generates large volumes of water with high pollutant loads, so the products that condition these waters are also used in high volumes.

The aim of the treatment of these effluents is to promote reuse and thus reduce part of the negative impact caused by the discharge on the receiving environment.

Sector

Textile

The textile industry involves a long chain of production and consumption of supplies that range from the extraction of raw materials, textile manufacturing, dyeing, to the construction of clothing. For all these reasons, water consumption is very high, since it is used to wash the raw material and for many stages of the production process in which it is used as a cleaning vehicle with high consumption.

Sector

Metalworking

The biggest problem of wastewater in the metalworking industry lies in companies that perform surface treatment on metal parts (painting, coatings) or carry out forming, pressing, or machining.
These waters have a high content of dissolved metals, complexed metals, fluorides and oils and fats.

Sector

Ceramic

Throughout the grinding and polishing process of the ceramic industry, water plays a fundamental role in the production of ceramic pastes and enamels.
The amount of water used will depend on the process carried out, but most of the wastewater is generated in the washing of grinding equipment, washing of enameling lines, and cleaning of the facilities.

Sector

Paper

In all the processes of the paper industry, such as the production of paper pulp or the manufacture of different qualities of paper and packaging, large amounts of water are consumed, as is the recovery of recycled paper. All this generates that the effluents contain different types of pollutants, some of natural origin, come from wood such as inks and vegetable fibers, also matter of synthetic origin such as phenols, dioxins and furans.

Sector

Mining

Metal mining is the activity related to the exploitation of natural substances, from which a metallic element can be extracted.

Metal mining comprises of those industries where silver, gold, nickel, aluminum, copper, iron, and other metal elements are mined.

Non-metallic mining includes the extraction of mineral resources such as talc, kaolin, sand, silica, lime, etc. After proper treatment, these are transformed into products applicable to various industrial and agricultural uses, thanks to their physical and / or chemical properties.
